‘Love Island’ winner Amber Davies has lit a flame and caused outrage with her comments on casual sex during her chat with BBC Radio 5.
Davies has some new proposed “rules” on casual sex and they aren’t exactly the type of views you would think she would have after her appearance on ‘Love Island.’ Davies is against have sex on first date because it is a sign of “self-respect.” This is coming from someone who had sex on live TV, so people’s reactions are mixed.
People are picking up their phones and roasting Davies via Twitter over her list of casual sex rules. Davies said not to have sex if you are under the influence because men and women become vulnerable. Probably the only Davies rule we agreed with during her chat with BBC Radio 5 was telling women to stand up for themselves, if everyone around you is having sex it doesn’t mean you have to. She also added that females get emotionally attached after sex, which is misogynistic. She is basically throwing out any of the terms like “no strings attached” or “friends with benefits” that our culture has become accustom to with dealing in casual sex or relationships.
